Abstract

Even though the eating behavior disturban­ces are a theme for multiple researches in differ­rent branches of the psychological sciences, how­ever the study of socio-psychological adjustments role within the development of eating behavior disturbances in adolescent girls requires special attention. The impact of personal and social self-esteem, basic beliefs and irrational adjustments within the development of restrictive, emotional and external eating behavior disturbances in adolecent girls is discussed. Particularly, the re­search focuses on solid study of such consistent patterns as the "Real-Me" and "Perfect Me" dif­ferences, features self-assessment, sense of self-value and social expectations circumstances in adlocent girls with adolescent girls with restric­tive, emotional and external eating behavior dis­turbances. In the article the obtained legitimate data is presented.
