Author Biography

Hans KÖCHLER, International Progress Organization

(Dr. phil, Dr. h.c.) is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Innsbruck (Austria), President of the International Progress Organization, Co-President of the International Academy for Philosophy. His areas of interest include phenomenology, existential philosophy, anthropology, human rights, philosophy of law theory of democracy, etc. Köchler’s publication list contains more than 500 books, reports and scholarly articles in several languages. Among his major works are: “Skepticism and Social Critique in the Thought of Martin Heidegger”, “Phenomenological Realism”, “Philosophy – Law – Politics”, “Democracy and the International Rule of Law”, “Global Justice or Global Revenge? International Criminal Law at the Crossroads”.
