The Perspectives of Developing Philosophical Thinking Starting from Early Childhood in Armenian Reality

This research projects is in its initiatial stage and needs a comprehensive and consistent constraction and development. The article discusses "child and philosophy" relationship as a major concept. It aims to justify the need and perspectives of developing philosophical thinking amongst children, necessity of formulating philosophical world view, based on the experience of international centers and programs performing in this field. Furthermore, the article outlines the potentials and realistic approaches through which the educational program Philosophy for Children can be realized in Khachatur Abovian Armenian State Pedagogical University. In the initial phase mechanisms and methodological basics will be created for training teachers, who would later utilize professional skills and teachniques to teach philosophy to children
